We did it!
We made it through our NYS testing sessions! I am so proud of all the hard work each and everyone one of the children put in!
Still to come....
If you have not already done so, please return the permission slips and $6 for our last field trip to the Royalton Ravine. We would like all the money collected by May 6th.
As always, thank you for your enormous support through the year! I am so blessed to be working with such a fantastic groups of kids!

Still to come....
- Currently, we are working on a Nonfiction Book Report. Each student selected a topic to research. They are required to do the research using the internet and at least one book source/encyclopedia. This must be done in their own words. Any information that they are taking directly from their sources will be cited properly. This is a skill we will be working on in class during Writer's Workshop. Please ask your child what their chosen topic is and encourage them to go to the public library for a wider variety of books to select from. After they have gathered their facts, we will be working on completing a Fast Facts page and I have given the students a packet to choose from a variety of presentation activities.
- Our Unit D Chapter 1 Science test is on Monday, May 5. We will continue to explore space for one more chapter before we begin reviewing for the Final Exam.
- Within the next few weeks, I will be giving the students review sheets for final exams. Please be looking for these to come home. :)
