Food Chain Stations

Throughout the room, I set up 7 different food chain stations for the students to rotate through.
Each group had to work together to open their bag, view the organisms, and place them in the correct order. When they were sure about their order (producer, 1st level consumer, 2nd level consumer and tertiary consumer), they checked their progress by opening the Answer Key envelope.
When the timer went off  - they only had about one minute! - they shuffled their cards, placed them back in the bag and moved on to their next station.
They had a blast! It really got them thinking, moving and working together!
