Please remember that the kiddos have their Summer Reading presentations due on Tuesday, October 21st. They were each given a handout with presentation ideas and criteria. They will be graded on knowledge of the novel and meeting all the requirements of their selected presentation.

 

 

• We will have our second DARE class this Friday!

 

• Book Orders are due Oct. 17th. You can order online using our class code, or send in a paper copy with a check written to Scholastic Book Club.

 

 

Friday, October 17th is a half-day for students. If you have not already selected a time to meet for conferences, please do so by following the link that was sent to your email to schedule a time via signupgenius.

 

 

We are struggling a bit as a group on the Math lessons this past week. Please be patient. If you see your child struggling with the homework, please stop them before they have maxed out their level of frustration. Initial their paper, and we will work together to tackle it the following day. I will not accept a blank paper with an initial. Please monitor and make sure they have given a real effort to complete a few problems on their own, even if it is wrong. I need to see where they are making their mistakes.
